Brian Dooley is a certified public accountant who has specialized in estate planning and the income taxation of trusts. He is the founder  of  International Tax Counselors.

Education

He has a Bachelor in Science Accounting from the University of Southern California. 

He obtained his  Graduate Degree in Taxation from the  University of Southern California.

Publications and teaching

He is a former instructor for State of California University system teaching their graduate course in international taxation.

He is the author of the publication International Taxation in America (at this link). He  was an author  for Mathew Bender’s publication, Taxation of International Transactions.  

From 1991 to 2007, he was the Chairperson of the California Society (Orange County) International Tax Committee.

Additionally, he was the Chairperson of the Tax Committee from 2002 to 2007. He is a founding director of the Newport Beach-Irvine Estate Planning Council. 

In 1994 and 2007 he was an expert witness at the Department of Treasury's hearings on private annuities.

Brent Gunderson  practices law  primarily in the areas of business and estate planning, trust and probate administration and business immigration. He has Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating of AV and is included in Marquis' Who's Who in American Law.  Brent is the founder of Gunderson, Denton & Proffitt, P.C.

Education

Brent received his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where he was the case note and comment editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law.

Before opening his office in 1996, he was the partner in charge of the estate planning and business immigration practice areas at Brown & Bain P.A.

He lived in Taiwan for two years and speaks Mandarin Chinese. He is active in bar activities and in the community. He is a member of WealthCounsel and the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a past president of the East Valley Estate Planning Council and the Arizona Management Society.

He has served on the Board of Trustees of the Maricopa County Bar Foundation and currently serves on the Professional Advisory Board of the Arizona Community Foundation.

He has been very active as a leader in various capacities with the Boy Scouts of America and has coached several youth sports teams.
